The Employment Pass, or EP, is issued to professional staff, executives, managerial personnel, and other specialists.
Professionals who are qualified for this pass should have a job offer in a specialized area or management level with a fixed monthly income of at least SGD3,300.
Foreign entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a business in Singapore and operating it personally in the city-state are also required to apply for an EP.
